Mazza (Echoes). Come join us for an extraordinary night of unity, support, and unapologetic self-expression as we celebrate Pride as an inclusive community. Led and curated by queer Black & POC folx, to pay homage to the rich history of the pride movement by embracing various cultural elements, including disco, 70's soul train, Afrofuturism, dance culture, the vogue scene, and spirituality 🦄. Get ready for an atmosphere brimming with positive vibes and warm welcomes across two dance floors + a queer bookshop. A phenomenal lineup of five talented DJs will keep the energy soaring throughout the night, accompanied by special guest performances. For those eager to kick off the night in a unique style, join Kumari Suraj for an exhilarating Waacking dance class. You'll explore the movement foundation and LGBTQ+ history of the vintage Disco dance from Los Angeles called, Waacking. Waacking is characterized by its stylized arm movements, dramatic facial expressions, and theatrical performance. Kumari’s class takes you on a transformative journey of self-exploration through this genderless dance form associated with expression from oppression and euphoric liberation. LA based Disco Housewife is joining us in London. A Queer-centric authentic Disco & House music experiences for folx “married to the culture”. A night by Kumari Suraj. Featured on LEGENDARY on HBO MAX (2022), New York Times (2020), and Vogue India’s “Top 50 Most Influential Global Indians” (2019), Kumari is an artistic force and cultural game-changer who has influenced the entertainment industry and underground cult communities from Hollywood to Bollywood and beyond.

Join a Waacking Dance class @ 9pm-11pm. Kumari is a non-binary producer, digital creator, choreographer, creative director, songwriter, recording artist, LGBTQ+ activist, and personality; whose dance innovations and cultural contributions in entertainment since the early 2000s, continue to create global impact. You'll explore the movement foundation and LGBTQ+ history of the vintage Disco dance from Los Angeles called, Waacking. Waacking is characterized by its stylized arm movements, dramatic facial expressions and theatrical performance energy, traditionally danced with Disco, House & Funk music. Kumari’s class takes you on a transformative journey of self exploration through this genderless dance form associated with expression from oppression and euphoric liberation.

DJ Sabs

Sabs mixes are very much influenced by the sounds of her upbringing including soul, disco, 90s R&B and Afrobeats. She has a monthly residency at the Ned where she showcases a variety of genres. Sabs DJ journey has also meant she has developed a unique house sound of afro, amapiano, soul and tribal which she plays on her radio show as well as in person with Sisters of House collective.  If you haven't had chance to see her in person make sure you check out Sabs monthly mix series of various genres which can be heard on Mixcloud and Soundcloud.

We are making space for queers,  QTIPOC, queer women, non-binary and trans folks + their friends to enjoy the pride celebrations. Gay men are also welcome.

Tickets on the door will be limited. Grab a ticket to avoid being disappointed.

Yes, the cloakroom is available downstairs at the venue for £2.

Yes, the bookshop will be selling books all night! You can also leave your books with us until the party ends.

Yes, we will be having a mixer from 9 pm - 10 pm join our friendly hosts and meet some people. 

 The bar and bookshop which will be spaces used for the night are fully wheelchair accessible.

1:30 am is the last entry! You risk not getting in, if you arrive later. Come early.
